Very Sad News...

I've just received word that my maternal uncle, Bill Bozeman, has died. I'm gutted...

Uncle Bill was so beloved by our family - he and his late wife, my mother's sister Estelle, provided day care for me as a young kid by allowing me to hang out in their veterinary practice for hours on end after school and on Saturdays. Such a wonderful, warm, genuinely decent person.

Dr. Bozeman gave me my first shortwave receiver! I was 13, and totally blown away by his act of largesse. God, I dread this funeral...
