Hollywood Squares' Peter Marshall to Host Daytime Emmys!

Good Morning,

Ray Brassier, the author of "Nihil Unbound" (among many other challenging, exhilarating works) just sent me his liner notes for TLASILA's The Cortège. As always, he seems to intuitively understand intent. They're outstanding.

A sample: "TLASILA have long set themselves a formidable challenge: to fuse high abstraction with low sensation, demolishing prefabricated form and scouring affective cliché while bestriding the cultural chasm that separates Pierre Boulez from John Holmes. Yet this is not some antic hybridization..."

(No mention of my three-way '79 tryst twixt Delia Derbyshire and Nina Hartley, but what can one do?)

Now to complete the artwork and send everything off to the label (Fan Death). Out on vinyl around August 1st (?) if their schedule holds firm...

Cheers,

TS

Is that for the Don Fleming version?

Hello Bruitiste!

Oui, it's for DF's mix. The subsequent iteration (very different) will be issued in 2012 as Épuration (Cortege Version)...

Cheers for posting!

Best,

TS
