I'll be posting a two-disc Internet-only compilation of To Live and Shave in L.A. musik, culled primarily from out-of-print and limited-release recordings from 1991 to 2004. These versions will be ripped from the masters, and will thus sound infinitely better than the files floating around on Soulseek, BitTorrent, private fora, P2P nets, etc. Totally free, strictly for fans, the obliquely curious, impecunious tots, and other n'er-do-wells. Basically, we're talking Tom Smith/Don Fleming: Gin Blossoms through the God and Country Rally! tour, with requisite oddments. (My fave tracks, not just a random trawl through the boneyard.) Very busy for the next few days, but as soon as things cool off a bit I'll start uploading. Inform (on) your loner buds, etc. Some of the stuff will turn up later on the box set we're putting together (for '07?); please forgive duplications in advance.
Note to the ladies (and doleful noise aparatchiks): Rat will personally rub each mp3 over his tongue, chest and thighs! Grab your air sickness bags and get in queue!
Best,
TS
