The Smiths Are Still Murder, But Meat Is Another Level of Hell...

In between finishing DeLillo's Point Omega and shearing off tie-dyed chunks of Pynchon's Inherent Vice, I began reading Jonathan Foer's Eating Animals. Blasted through about 60 pages on the rail commute from work this afternoon.

I'm rather late to the book, primarily owing to my smart-arsed vegetarian/vegan supposition that I already knew the worst of the horrors. Not so... Excellent tome.

The gaze is important to me...

KSV Update: The Snail-Paced Rule, OK?

Hi Again,

Nearly finished burning the sixth of the ten 72 Hours mega-boxes. Still need to fold them... Ambition really did me in this time. The piece works quite well, but its necessary size and grim post-production regimen have served to slow all else to a crawl's tentative shudder. All outstanding orders will be shipped with a free disc to help ease the pain. As soon as I've gotten the dirty work out of the way, I'll re-launch the larder, and demon-molars will be seeded once more.

New titles? We've got 'em.

(Please don't order them yet. We have our hands full.)
