Received another sack of Astralwerks/Caroline-distributed discs from Marc at Menlo Park; I'd only requested John Cale's blackAcetate, but Mr. Weitz was kind enough to also include Prefuse 73's Security Screenings, Josie Mel's Rasta Still De 'Bout, Charlie Hunter, Chinna Smith and Ernest Ranglin's Earth Tones, and the latest Japanther EP, Yer Living Grave... I love the way MW thinks.

Andrew's back from Hawaii; final, absolutely fucking final N&E tweaks this week. Spoke with DF on Monday; we're producing Sean Lennon's next album... Rat and I are simultaneously mastering Dave Philips' Smack Shire Curses comp... Sumptuous C. Grier is increasingly outraged re W admin horseshit (stand in line, guv), and performing here und there mit Cornell West Experience... Ben is H'wood, as previously reported, prob. working 24/7... Mark's chilled in somber MI, already spreading blueprints for the next attack... (T. Mo is likely in Northampton, tho yr guess...)
Elisabeth Arkhipoff and I are trading N**n design ideas; can't wait to see what she's got up her pochette (re pochette)...

Re Scott H.: he and I were engineers at Microgroove Studios (in Decatur, a nicely divergent suburb) ca. 1996-2001... Never especially tight with the lad (he worked out of a space carved from the tape library, and mostly kept to himself) but of course I'm pleased for his success. His work strikes me as kinda hit-or-miss, but when it works (prob. 75% of the time), it works very well.
Re MM: if the essence and foundation of Kabbalah Water is the consciousness of sharing which infuses it, and, if once all the waters of the world were imbued with this consciousness, then my eye, washed as it is with Kabbalah Visine, sees right through your pagan ruse. Thanks for the update!
