Tom... you are really getting warmed up for the upcoming sessions... these last 2 are so great we don't even have to hear them to know just how they sound!!

M/K: Are you gonna be there? Do you have directions? We track Saturday, mix Sunday, record the WFMU session Monday at 2, hit the club at Brooklyn around 11 for the valedictory gig Monday night. Quick and dirty early 90's Shave style...

Lemme know ASAP!

Tom... we are so there... we have a hotel booked, we have the directions, we have been absolutely hammering our goofy myspace fanbase over the head to listen to FMU and come see the show, we have researched all of the equipment listed in Think Tank, we have selected our preferred microphone scheme (Royer 121 ribbon mikes in a mid-side configuration) and pre-amp, and had some thoughts on interesting techniques for recording some of the "white-noisy" guitar performances... we have spent the better part of 2 weeks carefully selecting drum heads and purchasing various mallets and other assorted non-traditional implements with which to strike said drums, and trying some unusual tunings... none of which really matters a hoot... lets just say, we are ready to rock (or Jazz) or Avant, or Classical, or whatever it takes... we also have put the finishing touches on the Grief remix... a phone number for you would be nice... our email proper : truthserum@verizon.net... we are planning to be there at 2:00 PM on Friday (as per Don Flemings instructions)...

Basically, we can't f**kin wait (my Birthday is on the 28th so this is like an all-out extended birthday bash for me...

No session Friday, Mark - we begin at noon on Saturday. You should take your time and arrive around 4PM. We'll be tracking in shifts... Happy birthday! See you on Saturday!

Great... that means we can get there a day early (and sleep real late)... our preferred M.O.- find the local Starbucks (in Lyndhurst)... read the Saturday Times (which should kill about 15 minutes)... hit the hotel gym... yada, yada, yada...

If we do get there a little earlier than 4:00 we promise to keep our hands out of the microphone closet ( and will refrain from making any suggestions or comments about pre-amps, compressors, miking techniques and placement etc... WE PROMISE WE WILL TRY TO REFRAIN FROM MEDDLING!!)
