Bonjour Bruno! Many thanks, as ever. You are a true blue fucking FREAK! (Emoticons to infinity.)
Medjoub, I'm still dithering with the recordings we made for the MM box; I hope they won't give up on us!
The Teenage Whore C-60 is finished, but awaits a few last-second bolt-tightening maneuvers. Each Day took quite a long time to piece together... I'd been against cassette releases for a number of years, but now I'm up for them, and prefer to lavish time on their production. My curmudgeonly phase is waning, I suppose... We're still receiving last-minute submissions for Grief - Weasel Walter sent his early this morning. It's a very interesting convocation of malcontents. The (probable) two-disc set should be on Important's release slate by Spring '08; I was in contact with John about it just last week. Rat and Graham finished mixing Cortege on the 3rd (I believe); it awaits Rat's mastering ministrations, and the Johnson Bros.' artwork. I'm guessing it will be available by March. Likewise the Shave/Drumm collab. I'm still working on it, but I'm awfully close... As for the Isolated Now Waves split 12", I turned in our half ages ago. We're waiting... There's other stuff out there too - dunno what's going on with split with Harshcore - I think the label they initially contacted bailed on them. We'll see...
Who are these aforementioned Johnson Bros. -- do they have any art posted online one can peruse? Another question: wasn't there at some point a release planned on the Ron_Zed label?
Lastly... Commmiinnggg! and Practis'd the Black Art?? Ohne??? OK, I'll stop now. Not that I won't be satisfied by all the other fabulous releases slated, just curious as usual. Keep up the great work!
I was just watching Air Farce Live - is it me, or is that show bloody awful? (Not the targets of the humour, mind, but the attempt.)
Many thanks, as ever, as always, etc. You're too kind for words, so I shan't waste any more on ye!
Brent and Brandon Johnson were referenced at TLASILA Blog back in August; go here to refresh the old mem.
Brandon is creating the paintings for the Cortege sleeve; Brent is currently filming a trio of 3D animated films that will possibly accompany the release. Graham and I spoke at length on Friday - he's leaning toward vinyl for the alb and a DVD (or DVD-R) for the videos...
Haven't been in touch with R_Z for a while - I submitted the material for a split CD-R several months ago, but I've not heard from them in the interim. Guess it's time to send an email!
Commmiinnggg will likely be the last of the trio of clay pigeons to fly the Savage Land coop. Late '08? Dunno exact launch coordinates at this juncture... Too early. Manu is doing great work at the moment - he should be given a medal for issuing all the Nevai stuff...
The Ohne album and tour is still on the table; I'm betting the former will be a lot easier to accomplish than the latter... Quality control is jacked to infinity with these guys, so we're usually loathe to proceed unless conditions are optimal. Hope we can make it happen in '08 - the plan for this year was roundly defeated by stasis. Sigh, moan, etc.
