We watched the coverage on RTL until 4:30, when Claudia, fearing an interminable grind to 270, begged off for slumber. Clicked over to the MSNBC feed, and as soon as the West Coast results were announced I let loose a South Georgia whoop and began crying like a fool. The Cool Palm cracked open the champagne, and we sat here in a daze until Obama finished his address to the weeping Grant Park throng...

Amazing.
