Museu Colecção Berardo: Vieira de Silva Exhibition (and More)...
This was a revelatory day. I was shamefully ignorant of Maria Helana Vieira de Silva's immense, profoundly moving body of work, and thus I was often transported to private redoubts of joy. She was a titan, a giantess crushing art before her.
Two of the final three photos were taken by Claudia Franke, who especially loved Vieira de Silva's epigrammatic gouaches.
Another proof that despite all disappointments and tragedies, life is fucking wonderful...
