Storm/Sturm...
The CP and I ventured into the Steintor neighborhood earlier this evening to view Hans-Christian Schmid's latest film, Storm. Reviews have been mixed, and that's understandable, especially after the intensity of Requiem, his previous feature from '06. A two-hour drama about the Bosnian war crimes tribunal in Den Haag, Sturm (its German title - we saw it at the Hochhaus–Lichtspiele undubbed, with Deutsch subs for the English/Dutch/Russian dialogue) is depressing as fuck, but good.
